*** categories *** and categories special rules (READ CAREFULLY)

1. Photography- which is an amazing art form of its own, and a good photographer can capture many emotions, themes etc in their lens. (NO MANIPS HERE, can do a bit to help with contrast, saturation, clarify and the like, but nothing g big, lets look back to old fashioned pure artistic photography before the digital camera, and digital art enhancement photo programs)

2. Photo-manipulation- here you can manip away, LOL ( you do not have to use my stock, but if you do follow all my stock rules and definitely follow stock rules of all stock artists work you use) (special note here--- when judging this category, if I am down to two pieces I really like and am having trouble deciding between them for the winner, I will give bonus points to the piece which used my stock, ether my backgrounds or models, in what ever way, will not have to be feature part of piece, if both pieces have used my stock in some way but one used it as feature they get more bonus points, now if both pieces used feature pieces of stock from my gallery, then bonus points will be given to the piece who also used stock from my stock brothers and sisters, if that has also been done in both pieces, then my mom will break the tie, if she cant decide then my niece will get a vote)

3. Traditional art- any form, painting in acrylic, oil, water color, using chalk, charcoal, pencil, oil pastels, colored pencil marker, etc, ( no manip’s here ether, only digital issue will be scanning or photographing to load into DA and possible sizing,) will also accept poetry or prose in this category

*-*-* a winner will be chosen from each of the three categories. So there will be three winners. then one grand finally winner will be chosen from those three, so I guess one of th three winners will be a double winner, LOL

• Must be a new piece, made just for the contest
• Must mention contest and link back to my journal and so forth
• No entries accepted before 11-13-07
• Contest ends 2-14--08 no entries accepted past noon central standard time that day.
• Must follow any special rules related to category of choice as listed with that category above.
• Must have something to do with the movie or your interpretation of part of the movie, and not just a re-do of a classic movie poster or photo's you saw on the web pages, I will be looking for a real feel of the movie, which I know by heart, as well as the soundtrack, by Ry Cooder.
